including a company match with our 401K.Overview:This role is
generally responsible for providing clinical support in an
outpatient vascular medical office. The Medical Assistant will
collaborate with clinical leadership to provide the best care to
vascular patients.This is a full-time role at 40 hours a week and
will report to the Office Manager for operational matters and to
clinical leadership for clinical matters.Responsibilities:Assist as
needed with patient care, including:Provide compassionate patient
support and care, attention and assistance during office
visitsSet-up room for patient procedures and ensure sterile
environmentFollow accreditation guidelines and document as
neededRecords patients' vital signs and maintains provider's
notesEnsure patient medical records are comprehensive and
completeAssist provider during office visits and proceduresAssists
as needed with daily operations of the clinic and office-based lab,
including:Assisting with scheduling patient appointments and
maintaining communication to confirm future appointmentsMaintaining
patient medical information, including medical history and health
insuranceMaintains orders and stocks suppliesManaging office
telephone, including answering calls and provide 24-hour call backs
to patients as neededCleaning and sterilization of equipmentProper
disposal of medical waste in accordance with facility
guidelinesPrepare exam rooms and assist physicians and other
clinical staff as neededProvide coverage until practice is closed
for the day or last patient has left if after closing
hoursMaintains HIPAA guidelinesMaintain compliance
databasesComplete ad hoc projects as
requestedRequirements:Completion of Medical Assistant Program and
certification as a Medical AssistantBLS certificationProficiency in
administrative tasks1+ year experience in a medical setting,
ideally surgicalWilling to be available for local and/or regional
assignments as neededBasic understanding of clinical tasksExcellent
interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail
