You will be a player/coach managing a team of capable product owners. The key components of the post-purchase team include customer loyalty, customer support tools, order management, returns, my account, and feedback collection.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage, mentor and guide a team of 3-4 product owners.
  • As a hands-on contributor, you will need to demonstrate best practices in product management to inspire your team and set the standard for excellence.
  • Manage the strategic relationship with technical vendors that power our platform.
  • Develop and maintain a strong compelling product vision, aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Drive the product strategy by making data-driven decisions and listening closely to user feedback.
  • Lead the creation of the product roadmap and ensure that it evolves with changing market conditions and evolving customer demands.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach in every aspect of product development by emphasizing user needs, pain points, and journey optimization.
  • Build empathy with users by gathering qualitative and quantitative insights and by constantly iterating on their needs.
  • Design and define product requirements that reflect the customer desires, while ensuring that features meet functional expectations.
  • Facilitate strong teamwork between engineering, IT, Data Science, Marketing, and Legal.
  • Create a culture of accountability within the product group by fostering clear objectives and measurable results.
  • Drive the day-to-day execution to ensure the timely delivery of product features.
  • Balance long-term vision with short-term tactical execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Establish and monitor key product success metrics, ensuring that product efforts are aligned with measurable business outcomes.
  • Communicate and assess outcomes through clear reports ensuring transparency and driving cross-functional learning.REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
    • Proven experience in product in a tech-driven or product-focused company, ideally 7+ years of experience in product management.
    • Experience with retail technologies - order management, CRM, shipping logistics, returns, communication tools, and analytics.
    • A natural decision-maker who inspires the confidence of those they work with. Has the ability to present their case with confidence.
    • Excellent product judgment: You have an in-depth understanding of what makes a user experience good or bad, and strong intuition for what people want to do.
    • Appreciation for detail: You easily recognize aesthetic and functional details and can make pragmatic decisions about what details are important.
    • Strategic insight: You understand the industry in depth and can use your knowledge to predict the behavior of key players.
    • Must possess strong understanding of Agile (SAFe) principles and methodologies.
    • Leadership: Others naturally look to you for guidance. You understand group dynamics and can organize chaotic situations.
    • Terrific communication skills: You've got a high signal-to-noise ratio. You're persuasive and sensitive to nuance.
    • Creativity: You love to solve problems large and small.
    • Writing ability: You could write final text for UI strings, marketing copy, one pager or press releases. Your writing is pithy, clear, and in command of tone.
    • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field. MBA is a plus.
